I’m laying here in bed, though this may not post until well after I woke, and had a lot of lines floating around my mind. Can’t sleep. So, I took ut my phone, began writing some of those pieces out, and noticed I had a tone of unfinished poems/lyrics on here. I counted like 34. Why is it often hard to finish what we started? That’s what came to mind after I finished counting. It’s interesting. I never liked to leave anything half done, yet I have, 34 times! I kno why some end up unfinished though, and wonder if it’s the same for other passionate writers. I, for one, tend to leave some pieces unfinished because I get interupted in thought, and then can’t bring myself to finish because that feeling had passed. I can’t force myself to write, or do anything else for that matter, unless I feel passionately about it. If I no longer possess that feeling I had once I started, I move on and hope to one day return to it. Anyway, just felt like writing **Yawn** I’m going back t sleep (or work depending on when this posts haha) Ciao
Well, I am still exploring new forms of poetry. Turning out to be quite fun I’d say. Sestinas and Diatelles have been the toughest by far to learn and master, but also the most rewarding. I been asked a few times about the forms, the mechanics behind them, and how I go about putting them together, and it gave me an idea. I could totally post the answers on my site haha. So, eventually I will have a bunch of how to’s together with a little bit on how I go about doing them. Gives me something else to do when experiencing writer’s block ya know.
Also, being the gamer that I am, I think I am going to start another blog that pretty much sticks to gaming. Now, I do see it crossing over to like TV shows or movies, but it would only be because it related to a game in some way. I talk games with friends and such all the time, and I must say, our conversations need to be recorded sometimes haha. Anyways, that is whats up. I am off to catch up on The Walking Dead and Breaking Amish for the night. New work coming pretty much alllllll this week. Ciao!
