My Jr. year in high school, which was only back in 2006, I had the greatest opportunity to go on the East Coast Tour. It was a trip out east, of course, to various sites that had significant impact in our American history. I found some of my photos from this throw away b&w camera and decided to share them. I’ll do it in parts because, well I want to haha.
Located at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial
This was either in the Franklin Roosevelt Memorial or George Washington’s House
George Washington’s Place. Random fact: the house is actually made out of wood but they mixed sand in the paint to try and give the appearance of brick. Brick was too expensive.
Washington’s property had several houses that served different functions. Here, one is a kitchen and the other storage I believe.
