Take an ounce of Humor
And strain out some sense
It won’t be needed for a night like this
Here you can add dash of regret
And let it simmer there at the bottom
So when you take that final sip
It lingers there at the lips
But for this
I am going to leave it out
And instead add a dash of clouds
Which are sure to fog up the mind
Leaving bits and pieces of tonight behind.
3 ounces of bad intentions
Laced with a bit of bravery
Because the cutie in the corner is looking mighty savory
And don’t go easy on the tequila
It’s essential to seal the deal
To what promises to be a semi-memorable night
Muddle it all together
Then shake quite vigorously
Feast your eyes on this beauty
And the power it brings.
Now take a glass, any glass
And wet the rim with a kiss,
Dip it in a mound of mischief, and
Cheers to a night of ignorance and bliss!
