Peering through a dimly lit frosted window
I get a glimpse of a vision that can’t possibly be.
An idea of times timeless end,
The sight of the Never-ending Sea.
I step outside my frosted window
To brush against the cool breeze.
Wondering if the waters feel me staring
Just as it’s peering right though me
Waves that crash and bring a thunder
Frightens the child trapped inside of me.
Proving that time doesn’t make me a woman
But a pawn to the knight of the Sea
Because it is endless it lets me drink
For my survival depends upon the Sea
Though it is what gives me life
Time is the force that will terminate me.
Thus my fate is set in stone
And cannot be altered unfortunately.
Yet still I sit peering through a dimly lit window
And I get a glimpse of Immortality.
